Fluffy Kitten

Because this day has been the sort of day it has been... and because I still don't have a copier machine (although I FINALLY got a fairly belly-fluffing call from the Salesrep)... I leave you with...

A fluffy kitten:

This is my main cat, Emily. I had wanted to take some pictures of her doing her new thing, which is to get up and flob out along the back of the Chair of Love. (The Chair of Love is a Morris-style recliner in which I sit *all* the time. All those reading this LJ who have ever visited my house can attest that if you sit in the Chair of Love, you get Emily on your lap, almost immediately.) I particularly wanted to record this way she has of laying directly on her chest, with her front legs all sprawled out. And then the last pic is just her doing a variation on her sphinx posture of stretching her looooonnnnng front legs all the way out.

The great thing about her suddenly deciding to get up and vultch on the back of the Chair of Love is that after a few weeks, my small emergency back-up cat, Morgan, after much observation, decided to start doing it too. So now either of them will be up there, often when I am actually in the chair. And once they are up there, (not TOGETHER, don't be silly), they have this thing where sometimes they get so excited they just have to rub their heads all over the top of MY head. And then sometimes they get so EXTRA excited that they have to try to eat my Spicy Brains. (Or else maybe they're doing that plucking thing that cats sometimes do, but in any case, it involves chomping at my hair.)

OMG she's so fluffy and adorable!! I love her "splat" on the back of the Chair Of Lurve. And of course the classic donut/prawn pose in the first pic. So cute!! <3

OK I don't even like cats much but that's adorable. Sometimes you just want to curl up in a puddle of sunshine and take a nap.

Kitties! So insanely cute.

Still no machine? Geez. Not a good way to start off with this company.

our cat (Freida) has also taken to hanging out on top of the recliner. Not sure what's up with that.
So no pics of the auxiliary kitty?

Yeah, I've met a couple of cats who like to sit on the back of whatever chair or couch people are on and eat hair. I don't know why either.

Believe it or not, it's the first hit that comes up if you google "spicy brains".

You're right, I really ought to try to get Emily to earn her keep. She's got all the requisite skills to be a commercials kitty. She's photogenic. She's friendly. She often comes when she's called. Plus she's chatty and LOUD.
