100 Years of Style in 100 Seconds

The only thing that could make this better is if there was a little advancing timeline crawl along the bottom or something.

completely. So much cultural change exhibited in the dancing and the clothing. Although, as I type this, perhaps not as much change as I'd hoped for. ;)

The choreography is also exquisite and the editing is fantastic.

Some digging turns up that it was commissioned by Westfield Stratford City, a new shopping center that is supposed to open 9/13/11 in east London -- thus, the date that shows up at the end. So I guess it's essentially a "come shop for fashion at WSC" add. (You can kind of see in the opening scene, and where the most contemporary outfits show up, that the floor to ceiling glass windows they're dancing in front of have "Westfield" really big across the top outside, backwards.)

I also really like how they choose to represent that some of the fashions were contemporaneous with each other.
